Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), led a passionate prayer for a great turnaround in Africa while charging the leaders on integrity and patriotism.
He made the charge at the just concluded 2019 Holy Ghost Congress with the theme: “The Great Turnaround”.
The programme brought thousands of Christian faithful from across 197 countries of the world.
Also in attendance was Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Oludolapo, the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his wife, lbijoke and the Governor of Akwa lbom, Mr. Emmanuel Udom among others.
Adeboye lamented the state of the countries in Africa and passionately interceded for a great turnaround from all the hazards plaguing the continent.
The wife of the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Folu Adeboye, who led the prayer session on behalf of her husband prayed for the unity of the country.
She prayed that leaders in Nigeria as well as those in other African countries should have a change of mind and start to pursue integrity, eschew tribalism and be patriotic, have love for their fellow citizens among others.
