Trabzonspor will be considering a loan deal for Nigeria international, Ogenyi Onazi, just weeks after the midfielder returned to competitive football to make way for new players, Sports Extra reports.

The Turkish side are considering loaning out some players of foreign nationality to make way for more players of Turkish descent as well as to be able to buy new players in the winter transfer window.

Donis Avdijaj from Kosovo and Ivanildo Fernandes from Portugal have been identified as players to be loaned out as their overall performance for the club have not measured up to standard while Onazi is being considered for the loan after playing just three games this season due to injury.

Trabzonspor have already identified Stoke City’s Senegalese midfielder, Badou Ndiaye, as a suitable replacement for the Nigerian and are hoping to complete the player’s signing in January.

Trabzonspor already have the quoted number of allowed foreign players (14) and will need to offload some, should they want to get more players in the January transfer window.

According to the rule by the Turkish Football Federation, Turkish clubs are allowed to have 14 domestic and 14 foreign players in their 28-man squad. Clubs are also permitted to field 11 foreign players in their 18-man match-day squad.
