Prophet Richard Kolawole, the General Overseer of Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C), Arogungbogunmi, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State has revealed that there will be political unrest in Nigeria, as well as increase in crime rate in every part of the country this year 2020.
The clergyman also warned the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government to obey court orders, have respect for the constitution of Nigeria and allow supremacy of the rule of law in order not to throw the country into a state of anarchy.
Prophet Richard Kolawole made the prophecies during a press conference organized to herald this year’s International Freedom Festival Convention of the church.
He also warned the government against imposition of taxes on churches and mosques.
According to Prophet Kolawole, “The Lord has revealed to me that in 2020, He will descend, visit, guard, protect and bless all the territories that are assigned for Him and His holy name.
“The Lord says what we are seeing now is vengeance from Him, because the leaders of this country have no respect for Him anymore, they are nursing ideas of collecting tax from churches and mosques, they said churches and mosques are the same as business enterprises, also that many fake pastors are in the ministry today, does that means God has stopped calling real men?”
Speaking about the former governor of Lagos State and Leader of the ruling party in Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prophet Kolawole said that there will be more persecution for him because of his ambition to become president by the cabal in the Aso Rock. He added that there will be divisions and factions in All Progressive Congress (APC) between 2020 and 2023.
In his prophecy about the governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, Prophet Kolawole said Engr. Makinde is an appointed and anointed governor for Oyo State, therefore, urged the people to join hands with him as he is ordained to perform more than his predecessors.
The clergyman warned the Lagos State government to be proactive by putting preventive measures in place as the state will experience terrible flood in 2020.
Prophet Kolawole enjoined Nigerians to brace themselves up because death will knock on the door of one of the country’s old generals.
In His words, “the Lord says we should be ready to prevent hoodlums who are ready to loot markets, companies and set them ablaze after operation under the pretense of fire outbreak.
“The Lord says He will wage war against any security agency that refuses to discharge his duties with the fear of God,” he said.
