Day Currency’s Honourable Son, Yusuf Gave Out Cash Gift, Other Items To The People Of His Constituency

As part of the promises made to the people in Ibadan South West state constituency one, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi, a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, has given out cash gift and tools to the first set of graduating trainees at the vocational training programme he organised.

Hon. Adebisi, who is also the Deputy Chief Whip in the ninth assembly equally used the opportunity to reach out to widows and women by giving them cloths and food items.

The event took place at the Foko Compound of the lawmaker to commemorate the celebration of the new year.

While speaking with journalists after the event, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi, said that the step was part of his electioneering campaign promises to, at a point in time reach out to the people of his constituency.

He called on the people of the constituency to join hands with him to support the present administration in Oyo State to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.

Adebisi, while handing over barbing tools to the graduating students, disclosed that the move was the first step, noting that efforts are in progress on the renovation of primary healthcare centers and facilitation of police station to the constituency.

He added that he is in discussion with the executive arm of government on the facilitation of the establishment of secondary schools in the constituency.

The youthful lawmaker, in his new year message to the people of his constituency, promised that part of his agenda for the year 2020 is to come up with motions and bills that will assist the executive in bringing rapid development to his constituency and state at large.

Adebisi implored them to be law abiding citizens of the constituency and by extension of the state, by cooperating with security operatives during and after festive periods.

Some of the tools given out to ten graduating trainees included clippers, generating sets, apron and other items. In addition, N20,000 cash gift was given to them to rent their shops. Rolls of clothes and food items were shared to about 400 widows and women across the constituency.

The event was attended by party leaders from across wards in Ibadan South West constituency one.
