Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has described Ekiti State as one of the most peaceful states in the Country.
The Governor gave the assertion during the State Inter-Religious Thanksgiving Service, held at Osuntokun Villa in Ado-Ekiti, to mark the beginning of the year.
Governor Fayemi, who emphasized that 2020 would be a year full of foresight, Insight and Miracles, assured the people that the year’s vision and mission would be accomplished.
He appealed to the aggrieved to forget the past, with a view to chatting a way forward for the growth and development of the state.
The Governor advised the people to be civil in their conduct and be courteous while expressing their grievances.
Governor Fayemi said that Ekiti State was blessed with mineral resources which would be adequately harnessed to boost the economic status of the state, urging Ekiti Citizens to join hands with him to move the state to greater heights.
