All plans have been concluded by the caretaker Chairman Ibadan East Local Council Development Area, Hon (Engr) Abiodun Babalola to commence Omituntun Free JAMB Coaching for 2O20 candidates.
According to Babalola,the plan was made in order to compliment the good gesture of the Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde to improve the standard of education in the state
Said the LCDA boss “The Makinde-led administration has been giving utmost attention to ensure better education in the state and in order to continue with this landmark achievement we at the grassroot must emulate this and ensure we uphold it as we all know education is the bedrock of every state.
“I strongly believe this initiative will improve the level of performance of the students in the year 2O2O UTME slated for the first quarter of the year and as well to prepare them for other challenges waiting for them at their various institutions”.
The coaching exercise is scheduled for every Friday and Saturday at United Junior Secondary School, Agugu and Olubadan High School, Aperin, both in Ibadan.
The Council boss, however, appealed to parents and guardians to make judicious use of the rare opportunity by releasing their wards on time and advised students to be focused so as to achieve the purpose of the lesson and have good results in the Council Area in the year 2020 forthcoming JAMB examination.
The Head of the Local Government’s Administration, Mrs Clementina Modupe Funsho-Alao in her remarks enjoined all the qualified students within the jurisdiction of the Council Area intending to sit for the forthcoming year 2020 Jamb to obtain OMITUNTUN free coaching forms at Education and Social Services Department of the Local Council Development Area situated at Ibadan North East Secretariat, Iwo Road Ibadan immediately.
