The Chairman of Ado Ekiti Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Honourable Mrs. Omotunde Fajuyi has issued a warning to all those trespassing into the landed properties acquired by the Local Government for its use.
Omotunde Fajuyi gave the notice on Friday while moving round to inspect projects and properties owned by the Local Government.
In her words, “trespassers making use of the landed properties belonging to Ado Ekiti Local Government should keep off. They should keep off from all the locations where the Local Government properties are located”.
She gave the warning in Basiri and other places during her official tour and inspection.
The Local Government boss added that, “it is illegal for any individual to encroach or take possession of Local government properties”.
Fajuyi expressed the readiness of the Local Government Authority to take all necessary security arrangements possible to protect such properties from being further invaded by the trespassers.
According to Fajuyi, she said work will soon commence on the fencing of the landed property located beside the old SSS office in Basiri by the local government to ensure its safety.
