In line with the administration’s policy of rewarding hard work and diligence, the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi has confirmed the appointment of Mr Olurotimi Popoola as the General Manager of the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State (BSES).
The confirmation is sequel to the recommendation of the board of the corporation and the parent ministry.
Mr Popoola started his broadcasting career as Editor II with the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation and continued his service in BSES upon the creation of Ekiti State in 1996.
A thoroughbred professional , Mr Popoola rose through the ranks to become Acting Head of Station in May 2019.
His appointment as substantive General Manager of BSES takes effect from February 1, 2020.
