Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure says his Belgian club, Club Brugge remain firmly on track to advance to the next round despite the disappointing draw against Manchester United in the Europa League.
According to Club Brugge official website, the skillful striker, who made his debut for the Nigeria’s senior team on 10 September 2019 in a 2–2 friendly draw to Ukraine, coming on as a 82nd-minute substitute for Samuel Chukwueze said the game is not yet over his team will work toward a win against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Speaking on the outcome of the game, the former Zorya Luhansk of Ukraine striker said he is not happy with the result of the game because his team want to win.
“We wanted the win, but didn’t succeed. We now have to work towards that second leg at Old Trafford.
“Everything’s possible in football, we will see what happens there”, Bonaventure added.
The second leg between Manchester United and Club Brugge will take place at Old Trafford on February 27.
