The Oyo State House of Assembly has announced names of the secretaries to the Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas in the state.
This was contained in a letter forwarded by the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde and read by the Clerk of the House, Felicia Oyediran at the plenary held on Wednesday, March 12, 2020.
The governor is seeking the approval for the 68 secretaries and five other members of the transition committee for each LGAs and LCDAs to work together with already inaugurated caretaker chairmen.
Among the names forwarded to the House are Olayinka Oladoyinbo, Ibadan South West Local Government and Babatunde Ogunesan, Saki East Local Government, who are staff members of the Nigerian Tribune Newspaper.
Also in the nomination list are: Salami Bolaji, Ibarapa North East LCDA, Tunji Adenekan, Ido LG, Matthew Oluseyi, Iwajowa LCDA, Mojeed Adebisi, Lagelu LL, Fagbami Temidayo, Ogbomoso South LG, Seye Awopegba, Akorede LCDA, Ifeoluwa Akande, Egbeda LG, Kolawole Busari, Iwa LCDA, Bola Oladeji, Okebadan LCDA, Adeniji Ademayowa, Ibadan North LG.
Others included Ojo Oyeyemi, Ibadan North LG, Ogundeji Teslim, Ibadan South East LG, Salau Kamorudeen, Ibadan West LCDA, Abideen Olaide, Ibarapa Central LG, Yinusa Ayinla, Irepo LG, Mutiu Adesoji, Olorunsogo LG, Sikiru Moradeyo, Ona Ara LG, Egbede Akeem, Aare Latosa LCDA.
Meanwhile, the Speaker, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has directed the nominated secretaries and members to forward their CV to the assembly before next Monday for screening.
