Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has sent a message to his country’s teeming fans amid the growing number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.
Nigeria’s commercial capital, Lagos is the area most affected by the outbreak with sixteen cases, Abuja has three, Ogun State two and Ekiti one, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to twenty two, though two persons have been discharged.
Leicester City midfielder is self-isolating at home as part of the measures put in place to minimize the risk of the holding midfielder contacting the virus.

In a video and message posted on the official Super Eagles Twitter account, the Nigeria national-teamer was videoed reminding people to wash their hands properly with soap or sanitizer, and also revealed a new mode of greeting without shaking hands.
