The news of the rise in cases of coronavirus patients to 131 has started to throw Nigerians into serious confusion and panic.
Respondents who spoke with PMParrot expressed fear and urged governments at all levels to take practical steps to curb the spread.
On Monday evening, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced that Coronavirus cases had risen to 131.
Of the 20 new cases, 13 were recorded in Lagos State, four in Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), two in Kaduna and one in Oyo.
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, had earlier announced that he tested positive for the virus.
The NCDC tweeted, “Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 13 in Lagos, four in FCT, two in Kaduna and one in Oyo State.
“As of 09:00 pm on March 30, there are 131 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with two deaths.”
