Staff members of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan on skeletal duties on Thursday were seen jubilating when the news broke that their Chief Medical Director (CMD), Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, had tested negative for COVID-19 after eight days of isolation and treatment.
The news which was broken by the Head of Public Relations Unit of the hospital, Mr Toye Akinrinlola, said that the last test on his blood sample came back negative.
It could not be ascertained whether the test was carried out at the Ibadan sample reception center located within UCH.
