There was a fire outbreak on Wednesday at the Treasury House, which is the headquarters of the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation and Nigerians have been reacting.
Some of those who spoke with PMParrot online and offline said there is ‘more to this development’
Said a respondent “We all know the game, this particular occurrence being discussed is not ordinary. It must be seriously probed. How can this happen just when government is thinking of giving out palliatives to Nigerians suffering from the lockdown of the economy as a result of the ravaging coronavirus?”
It was gathered that the fire, which started about 10am may have been as result of power surge.
Meanwhile, the officers of the Nigeria Emergency Management Agency, the Nigeria Police and the Abuja Environmental Protection Board and others are still at the scene.
