EPL Anti-COVID-19: Ighalo, Ndidi, Iwobi Join

Super Eagles quartet, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Odion Ighalo, and Kelechi Iheanacho have pledged their support to the NHS’ COVID-19 course after the UK health secretary, Matt Hancock, urged EPL stars to “play their part” amid the pandemic last week.

The collective initiative named ‘Players Together’ was set up by topflight captains across the country to “help those on the NHS frontline fighting the virus.

The Eagles quartet who play in the English topflight with Everton, Leicester and Manchester United indicated their support by uploading the initiative charity on their social medium platforms.

Iwobi and Ndidi are notably the two who have posted the new initiative on their Instagram handle.

The Premier League is currently on hold after the pandemic gripped the UK.

The country currently has 60, 733 confirmed cases with 7,097 deaths so far.
