In his effort to support the activities of Osun State government to cushion the effects of the lockdown on the people due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Architect Muyiwa Ige has embarked on the distribution of food packages to Esa Oke residents.
The contents of the relief packages distributed through the Ward 7, APC Executives, included Beans, Noddles, Spaghetti, Semovita and Tomato paste. Cash gifts were also given to ward Chairmen in the LGA among others.
While urging the people to stay safe and maintain Social distancing rule when distributing, the renowned Architect and Scion of the Ige Dynasty, also rejoiced with the people of Osun and Nigeria at large on the Easter celebration, calling on Christian faithful to use the sacred period of the remembrance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to pray for the cleansing of the entire land of evil and hydra headed virus ravaging the world.
In the same vein, to commemorate the 17th Anniversary of the transition of their mother and grandmother (Hon. Justice Atinuke IGE JCA, OFR), and wife of the First Executive Governor of the old Oyo State and former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the federation, late Chief Bola IGE, the grandchildren gave out COVID -19 Relief Food Packages to some widows, Orphans and the vulnerable at the Splash FM premises, Felele area, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
