The Democratic Writers Association of Nigeria (DWAN) has commended the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 led by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, for its laudable efforts in containing the spread of the Covid-19 Pandemic virus currently rocking the economic and political activities of the country.
The Association in a statement issued and signed by its Chairman Wole Adedoyin commended the Task Force for their prompt action in the provision of isolation centres in all affected states of the Federation.
The group also commended President Muhammadu Buhari in carrying Nigerians along through his national broadcasts and prompt response given to the needs of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The Democratic Writers Association of Nigeria (DWAN) finally advised the federal government to develop a legislative framework for the advancement of herbal medicine and science in Nigeria aim at improving Nigerians health welfare and Nigeria’s health sector.
