Osun’s Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has commiserated with one of his media aides, Niyi Oyetola, over the death of his wife, Mrs Haleemat.
The Governor in a condolence message released on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, described the death of Mrs Haleemat as shocking and painful.
He said: “I commiserate with the family of Mr Niyi Oyetola over the passing of his wife, Mrs Haleemat Oyetola. I received the news of her sudden death with rude shock.
“I urge the family of the deceased to be consoled by the fact that it is only God that gives life and takes it whenever He pleases.”
Oyetola prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and give the bereaved family the strength to bear the loss.
The late Mrs Haleemat Oyetola died at the age of 39. She is survived by mother, husband and children.
