The Founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc. Hassan Giwa has sympathized with the family, the people of Oyo State and members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Nigeria over the death of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Arc. Giwa, in a condolence message, described the death of the APC Deputy National Chairman as a monumental loss to the people of Oyo State and APC, not only in Oyo State but in Nigeria at large.
He disclosed that APC in Oyo State has lost a pillar, a leader with a great mind, who brought quality and modernization into governance during his tenure.
The HOG founder maintained that late Ajimobi during his tenure as governor of Oyo State worked very hard to improve the level of infrastructure and played an active role to change the perception of the people towards politics in the state, which was characterized by thuggery and hooliganism.
While praying to Almighty God to receive the soul of the departed, Giwa expressed his condolence to the wife and children, friends and associates and prayed that almighty Allah should give them fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
