The founder of Temitayo Zubair Abdul-Rasaq Foundation, Alhaji Abdul-Rasaq Temitayo Zubair, has rejoiced with Muslims across the country particularly in Ekiti state for the grace of Allah that has kept them safe to witness this year’s Eld-El-Kabir.
The foundation in a statement signed by its director of communication, Mr. Abiodun Olofe, prayed Allah to grant the celebrants good health to celebrate many more years on earth.
It also called on them to celebrate moderately by abiding by the rules and guidelines as directed by the government; wearing of face masks, continuous washing of hands and maintaining social distancing.
The statement called on all faithful to uphold the lessons of the celebration which include love, peace, obedience, tolerance and personal sacrifice as exemplified by prophet Ibrahim.
The statement also urged Muslim faithful to use the period to seek the face of Allah over the coronavirus pandemic which has continued to ravage the countries of the world.
