The governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi is said to be excited and thankful to God that he has recovered from the dreaded COVID-19.
Fayemi, who recovered after 11 days of being isolated was pronounced ‘negative’ by his doctors and he announced this on Saturday via Twitter.
“After 11 days in isolation, I received news that my COVID-19 repeat test came back negative.
“My sincere gratitude goes to God Almighty, my family, my medical team and all well wishers for the prayers and solidarity.”
Many of his admirers and supporters have since joined him to give thanks to God urging him to remain focused as he continues to govern his state.
