English Premier League side, Crystal Palace remain interested in Nigeria’s Super Eagles hopeful, Eberechi Eze despite failing with their first attempt to sign the attacking midfielder.
According to Daily Mail UK, the Eagles continue discussions with the Hoops over a possible transfer for the attacking midfielder who is valued at 20m pounds (approximately N11.9 billion) by the Championship club.
Palace’s first bid in the region of 12m pounds was considered too low by Queens Park Rangers.
West Ham are also optimistic about signing Eze and are ready to include striker Jordan Hugill as a makeweight in the deal.
The 22-year-old was one of the standout performers in the Championship in the recently concluded season, netting 14 goals and providing 8 assists in 46 starts, and was named QPR’s Player of the Season.
Newcastle United and Leeds United have reportedly shown an interest in the former Arsenal schoolboy.
