The Christ Glorious Evangelical and Gospel Mission has concluded a plan to stage a 90 days and night evangelical crusade in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State commencing from Monday 31st August to Sunday November 28th 2020.
The marathon gospel outreach with the theme: ‘Divine Connection & lifting’ according to the Chief Missioner of the TGEGM, Evang. SOD Oluwagbesan who is also the convener is initiated in accordance with the directive received from God.
While speaking with newsmen in Ibadan, Oluwagbesan said he received the directive from God during one of their vigils and all is set for the huge evangelical job with letters being sent out to all the appropriate quarters for due notifications.
The man of God said “Our Ministry is not yet a church, but our mission now is to evangelise and win souls to the kingdom of God” adding that “the theme of this evangelical work is Divine Connection & lifting”.
Explaining the rationale behind the theme, the clergy averred that the “Gods favour brings about divine lifting, when God’s favour is in operation, protocols are broken, unmerited favour from above (divine) comes in place. God strategically places people in our lives for divine purposes. These connections/people are sent to link with you, join with you and bond with you. They are designed by God to help bring to past a promise or a future event that is pre-ordained”.
Oluwagbesan, however, assured on safety measure during the event scheduled between 6:00 to 7:30 pm for the day and 11:00pm to 2:00 am in the night, at Damin Plaza Moshood Abiola Way, Ring Road Ibadan
“We are putting every measures in-place considering the pandemic as things will be held in conformity with all the regulations of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)” the clergy noted.
