All roads will on Sunday, December 20, 2020 lead to the prestigious Jogor Event Centre in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State capital, where the most beautiful girl for the year 2020 in the state will be unveiled.
The event packaged by Gotham City Network is expected to feature the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Kola Balogun and the Chairman, Ilaji Hotels and Resort, Engr. Dotun Sanusi as Co-Chairmen.
The beauty pageant event, which will commence by 2pm will also have dignitaries from different walks of life in attendance including the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji as the Royal Father of the Day and Chairman, Forum of Chairmen in Oyo State, Hon. Emmanuel Alawode as Special Guest of Honour.
PMParrot gathered that the Speaker of the state’s House of Assembly, Rt Hon Adebo Ogundoyin will also be present at the glamorous event.
The organizer, Mayor Issac Brown, disclosed that Miss Oyo pageant was introduced in Oyo State in 2002 and not less than three First Ladies have participated.
“Miss Oyo Pageant was introduced in 2002 in Oyo State and since that time we have had the likes of former First Ladies, Alhaja Sarat Adesina, Alhaja Mutiat Ladoja and Chief (Mrs) Kemi Alao-Akala who have graced the occasion one time or the other since that time.”
Mayor, as he is fondly called said that the brand-new car star prize will be presented to whoever emerges as winner of the contest live and direct at the venue of the event.
