We Are Still Committed To Infrastructural Development -Fayemi’s Govt

Dr Kayode Fayemi’s government in Ekiti State has reiterated its commitment to ensuring good road networks towards easing the burden involved in commuting and transporting farm produce across the State and boosting socio-economic activities in the State.

The Director General of the State Public Works Corporation, Mr. Sunday Awoyomi who made this assertion around Rano Petrol Station area of Adebayo in Ado Ekiti during a monitoring exercise of ongoing massive road repairs embarked upon by the State Government across the State, however solicited the support of all stakeholders for the success of the project.

Mr. Awoyomi appealed to motorists and other road users to be cautious, exercise patience and obey road signs in order to circumvent avoidable gridlocks, noting that there is bound to be a bit of delay and diversion that would require tolerance and orderliness to avoid chaos.

He assured that the Public Works Corporation would expedite action and promptly complete the repair works on roads without delay.

Assuring that the Fayemi led administration would cover all parts of the State; Awoyomi said that the ongoing rehabilitation works include filling of pot holes on NTA road, clearing of hedges along Ikoro/Ijero/Okeimesi road, rehabilitation of Okeimesi road.
