Oyo Police Command Parades Suspected Killers Of Oluwole Agboola, Council Boss Kidnappers

The Nigeria Police Force, Oyo State Command has paraded suspected killers of popular businessman, Oluwole Agboola at Akinyele area of the state.

Also paraded were the kidnappers of Hon. Adeleke Jacob Olayiwola, who is the Caretaker Chairman, Igangan Local Council Development Area and series of other criminals.

The state’s Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko disclosed this during a press briefing at Eleyele Police Command, Ibadan on Wednesday.

The police Commissioner expressed that three suspects, Dahiru Usman, 35, male, Muhammad’s ahmadu, 32, male and Ibrahim Mamuda, 20, male, were arrested in connection with killing of Oluwole Agboola by crack police detectives.

She disclosed that the suspects allegedly invaded the farm belonging to Mr. Agboola at Adegbede Village via Aba-Odo area, Akinyele Local Government area of Oyo State, where he was whisked to unknown destination, held hostage and eventually murdered after collecting a sum of #1,650,000.00.

While parading the suspected kidnappers of Caretaker Chairman, Igangan LCDA, Hon. Adeleke Olayiwola, Police Commissioner, Onadeko, named Babuga Mohammadu, 28, male, Rabiu Mohammadu, 37, male, Usman, 30, male and Aliyu Mohammadu as suspects.

She revealed that a sum of N5.5 million was collected as ransom before the release of the victim. The police Commissioner also said that one double barreled gun, one cut to size gun and four live cartridges were recovered from the suspects.

The Police Command also paraded suspected killer of one Colonel Victor Abayomi, James Matim, alongside three suspected serial robbery masterminds, identified Quadri Hammed, 25, male, Mojeed Kabiru, 21, male, and Folorunso Hammed, 25, male.

The CP said Colonel Victor Abayomi was murdered after he was abducted and taken to unknown destination where he was eventually killed. She also noted that the suspected robbers have been terrorizing lodgers at various hotels and worship centers within Ibadan and its environs.

She listed Wetland Hotel, K-Dreams Hotel and Suit and one Holiness Evangelical Church of Christ among places where the suspects have operated. Onadeko also mentioned that one locally made cut to size gun, one itel and Techno Pouvoir phones as items recovered from the suspects.

CP Ngozi Onadeko appealed to the members of the public to continue to support the police by providing useful information that will assist them to get rid of criminals and criminal activities in the state.
