All is now set for the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) to stage the state’s local government elections on May 15, 2021.
The commission disclosed this in a statement on Monday where it revealed the timetable and guidelines for exercise.
In the statement signed by the commission’s Chairman, Aare Isiaka Abiodun Olagunju SAN, stakeholders were urged to give their total support and cooperation to the commission to ensure it organise and conduct free, fair, credible and transparent local government election in the State.
Meanwhile, politicians in the state have continued to oil their political machineries as the commission’s boss had along the line promised all a level playing field.
