Ekiti Monarch Urges Ex-Students Of EKSU To Reposition Institution

The Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, His Majesty, Dr. Rufus Adejugbe Aladesanmi III has charged Ekiti State University’s former students to reposition the institution’s alumni body and to correct anomalies being experienced by students of the institution.

The Monarch gave the admonition when the Alumni body led by the new president, Engr. Dipo Bamisaye (FNSE) visited the monarch in Ado-Ekiti recently.

The Monarch described the emergence of Engr. Bamisaye as befitting and timely especially when the association needed capable hands to turn around the fortunes of the institution.

Presenting the National President to the Ewi, the immediate past President, Dr. Oludotun Adetunberu said the visit became imperative in view of the strategic position and support which the revered monarch, has always given to the alumni body and the institution.

Responding, the National President of the Ekiti State University Alumni Association, Engr. Bamisaye expressed appreciation to the monarch for his fatherly and moral support while commending him for his supportive roles and positive contributions to the development of the University.

The Alumni President also appreciated the monarch for his presence at the official ground breaking of the New Alumni Secretariat and the hosting of the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye lll, while calling for more support from the monarch at sustaining the rapid development of the University.
