The newly approved Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa, Prince Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe over the weekend paid a scheduled courtesy call on the Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola at the Government House in Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State.
The courtesy call which was necessitated to appreciate the Osun State Government for the approval received over the prolonged delayed of the Owaloko stool for about Nine years following the denise of Oba Olaldele Olashore in 2012.
Prince Akeem Ogungbangbe who was accompanied by the Elegboro of Ijebu Jesa, HRM Oba Oluwafemi Agunsoye and Asiwaju Rotimi Obiesun and the Chief of Staff to the Osun State Governor, Mr. Akinola to the Government House described the visitation as homecoming and such will further solidify the good relationship between the people of Iloko Ijesa and the State government as it was in time past.
He, however, expressed his appreciation to his Excellency for putting an end to the prolonged delayed towards approving a new King for the good people of Iloko Ijesa.
He assured the governor of his commitment to the progress and economic development of Osun State.
