Still basking in the euphoria of opening a multimillion naira music studio in Lagos, Nigeria, music executive, Precious Okonkwo aka Precious P Money has announced the take off of his P Money Records Music Contest 2021.
With the theme ‘Explore The Unexplored’, the contest which is going to be a live show with contesting housemates is targeted at grooming talents in the entertainment industry with the whooping amount of 10 million naira for the winner.
In a serene location in Lagos, contestants will have access to a voice coach, instrumentalists, guest artistes and other mentors and career advisers in the music industry with the aim of nurturing and grooming them on how to use their talents while a winner would be selected at the finals.
The PMR boss, Precious Okonkwo disclosed that the music contest is part of his dream to groom budding talents.
P Money who recently set up a recording studio said ‘I’m doing this to encourage artistes and provide avenues for them to excel in their chosen careers. In no little time, the PMR Contest will get a similar popularity as Idols and all other talent hunts programme. That is simply my wish and target’.
The producer/software engineer noted that superstar could come from anywhere as he mentioned many big artistes who started their journey from crass to class.
