Reports reaching PMParrot from Ikosun Ekiti in Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti State has revealed that four farmers have been abducted on their farm located at an agricultural farm settlement located in the sleepy town.
Confirming the unfortunate abduction of the four farmers to PMParrot late in the night on Monday, the Onikosun of Ikosun Ekiti, Oba Joseph Afolabi Adeoye said “the four farmers whose names are Yinka Adeniran, Gbadamosi Sarafa, Seun and Jimoh were all kidnapped at the Agric farm settlement at Ikosun Ekiti in Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti at about 5-6pm while working inside their farm”.
The Onikosun of Ikosun Ekiti further confirmed to PMParrot that two of those kidnapped, Seun and Jimoh were said to be Bulldozer Operators working in the farm at the time they were said to have been kidnapped along with others and taken to an unknown destination by the kidnappers.
Meanwhile, phone calls and text messages sent to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Sunday Abutu’s mobile line and WhatsApp contact by our reporter in Ekiti on Monday evening to confirm the development was not responded to by the police spokesman as at the time of filing this report.
