Newly promoted Italian Serie A side, Salernitana are on the verge of signing Nigeria’s Super Eagles duo of Simy Nwankwo and Joe Obi.
According to Sky Sports Italia Salernitana have held talk with the players over a possible switch, ahead of the coming campaign.
Joel Obi is available as free agent after his contract with Chievo Verona expired at the end of last season, while Simy Nwankwo could cost around €10million.
The reports also claimed Salernitana will continue talks with Crotone for striker Simy next week who scored 20 goals in the top flight last season.
The 29-year-old has also been linked with Udinese, Genoa and Torino after his sensational 20 Serie A goals last season.
