Newly promoted Assistant Inspector General of Police, Mr Adebola Longe and his 23 colleagues have been given fresh assignments by the Inspector General of Police, Mr Usman Alkali Baba.
The IGP has ordered their posting and redeployment to Zonal Commands and Formations as indicated.

Mba said Baba has assured the nation that the posting and redeployment of the Senior Police Officers will further help in driving the new policing vision, which amongst other things is targeted at improving policing services across the country and effectively responding to security threats in the country.
The posting and the redeployment of the Senior Police Officers is with immediate effect, he said.
