Former Governor of Ekiti state, Engineer Segun Oni has urged his supporters to brace up in canvassing for more supporters ahead of the forthcoming Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election in the state.
He stated this during the celebration of the first year anniversary of the Ekiti PDP Progressives in Ado Ekiti recently when prominent party leaders of the state were honoured with awards of recognition in appreciation to their contributions to the party.
He further appreciated the concerted efforts of 25 different groups within the party who aligned under the Segun Oni Campaign structure to work for his emergence as the party’s candidate in the forthcoming election.
Speaking further, the Director General (DG) of Segun Oni Campaign Organization, Honourable Yemi Arokodare stated that Ekiti state is tired of the current situation in the state while urging supporters to work hard for the emergence of Engr. Segun Oni in the coming election.
Arokodare further maintained that Engr. Segun Oni is a man loved by the masses, the pensioners, teachers, civil servants while revealing that the residents of Ekiti state are looking for upright and honest politician who will not mismanage the economy of the state.
In his own message, Aare Lanre Aregbesola, however, revealed that he will support the former governor with one hundred million naira for the actualization of his ambition to emerge as the next governor of the state.
