The Grand Council of Yoruba Youths, (Agbarijo Egbe Odo Yoruba), formerly known as the National Council of Yoruba Youths, is set to celebrate its 20th year of existence and 10th anniversary of its Youth leadership summit.
The event scheduled to hold on Thursday, 23 September, 2021, at the Banquet Hall, Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, by 11:00am will see the association honouring APC’s National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Special activities lined up for the commemorative event include an anniversary lecture tagged Osun, Ekiti 2022: Bibori Ipenija ati mu Idibo yi je Ategun Rere fun Idibo Apapo Odun 2023 to be delivered by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Honourable Minister of Interior and immediate past Governor of Osun State.
Dignitaries expected at the event include Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, Chief Pius Akinyelure, Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, Emeritus Prof (Mrs) Bolanle Awe and Mr. Dare Babarinsa among others.
The group’s President General, Comrade Awa Bamiji, however, assured participants of adequate security for all guests.
