Following the announcement that Fresh FM’s Ekiti topman, David Ajiboye died of complications arising from COVID-19, he will now be buried without ‘any ceremony or gathering’.
This information was contained in a press statement signed by Mr Samson Akindele on behalf of the broadcasting outfit on Thursday in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
PMParrot gathered that the former Nigerian Tribune staffer will be buried ‘immediately’ and this will be handled by COVID-19 task force as a private affair.
The statement also appealed and solicited for understanding from all “at this traumatic period as we mourn the passing of our friend and colleague.”
David Ajiboye died on Sunday at the age of 46.
