Nigeria international, Taiwo Awoniyi scored his third goal of the season in three consecutive matches as Union Berlin beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 2-1 to pick up their first win of the German Bundesliga season, leaving Adi Hütter’s men still waiting for theirs.
Awoniyi’s goal was his fifth of the season in all competitions, equaling his tally for the whole of last season before injury cut short his season in February.
