Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan have been hailing their darling team on the achievement of a ‘gallant return to the elitist Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)’.
3SC on Saturday returned to the NPFL after three seasons in the Nigerian National League (NNL).
The Oluyole Warriors spanked Ekiti United 6-0 in their last match of the NNL Super 8 play-offs in Enugu to regain the NPFL spot.
Recall that 3SC got relegated from the Nigerian top-flight at the end of the 2017 season alongside ABS FC of Ilorin, Remo Stars and Gombe United.
Meanwhile, 3SC’s team manager, Dimeji Lawal has also taken to the social media to celebrate.
His words “Finally back to NPFL. With God, all things are possible. We than our Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde too. We promised and we fulfilled. God is great!”.
