One of the most popular gospel singers ever produced by Nigeria, Tope Alabi who just returned from a holy pilgrimage to the kingdom of Jordan has relished her beautiful experiences of seeing many Biblical sites and leading hundreds of worshipers through her song-ministrations.
Tope Alabi who is an Ambassador to the destination management firm, Ufitfly, a principal partner of Nigeria Pilgrimage Board and Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission disclosed this to newsmen on her arrival, saying a visit to the city is a necessity for a complete Christian pilgrim.
The Nigerian gospel singer and soundtrack composer explained how prayers and praise worships were conducted along with top and respected prophets which included Prophet Solomon Oni Mustapha popularly known as Baba Sebioba at biblical historic places in Jordan.
“I am sure all our people that followed us on this trip will be happy and proud of UfitFly, because they must have been renewed in spirits and souls owing to the high-powered crusades and revivals at important strategic points, especially the point where Prophet Elijah was taken up by chariot of fire which is in 1 king 2 verses 1-18”.
“We offered prayers at Mount Nebo where Moses stood to view the Promised Land (Deut 32 vs 48-52), place where Moses raised his staff to save the children of Israel from snake bite (Num 21vs9), Gadara where Jesus commanded the unclean spirits out of the two mad men to enter swine, River Jordan, the original place of Jesus baptismal site and the place where John was ordered to be beheaded”, said Alabi.
She, however, explains that “Pilgrimage to Israel is a new testament Pilgrimage exercise, while Pilgrimage to Kingdom of Jordan covers both old and new testament Pilgrimage and for a Christian to fully perform holy Christian Pilgrimage exercise, such Christian must visit Jordan on holy Pilgrimage exercise”.
