  • Isaac Fayose Apologises To GSM Too

Yoruba people are full of wisdom. This is perhaps why they said that if two youths embark on the felling of a tree, only the elders will know the direction it will fall…

Our Parrots seem to be having upper hand now. Why? Remember they predicted sometime ago that the rift between former Ekiti Governor, Dr Ayodele Fayose (Oshoko) and Oyo’s incumbent governor, Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde would soon be settled. Now, we can authoritatively confirm that this has come to pass.

Parrots informed that Benue Governor, Mr Samuel Ortom was the one used by God to bring about the settlement.

This was not all, Fayose’s trouble-shooting brother, Isaac was also asked to apologize to the Oyo Governor.

Read the report of our Parrot that was privy to the developments.

“The meeting started with deliberations over zoning of both the Presidency and PDP chairmanship. It was eventually agreed that Presidency should be zoned to the South of Nigeria while the chairmanship seat of the party should go to the north.

“On the issue of Presidency, four names were thrown up – Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Engineer Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, former Governors Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Ayodele Fayose and Chief Bode George.”

Somebody hinted that they could bring in former Ogun Governor, Gbenga Daniel but the idea was killed immediately because the man being discussed is presently a card-carrying member of APC.

“Bode George was ruled out because someone alluded to the issue of age, Nyesom Wike was also opposed because somebody whispered something about ‘too much power’ against him. As for Oyinlola, the issue of recently joining up with PDP and loyalty to Sango Ota were reechoed. Seyi Makinde was asked to ‘maintain’.”

Anyway, Makinde and Fayose were asked to stay close and work together to ensure the progress of PDP in Nigeria and in the south of the country generally.

Meanwhile, Isaac Fayose and his brother, Ayodele are scheduled to hold series of meetings in Ibadan this weekend. Never say never in politics…”
