One of Nigeria’s vibrant financial institutions, Jaiz Bank Plc has announced that its profit before tax for the third quarter of 2021 rose by 54 per cent to N3.3bn from N2.1bn in the corresponding period of 2020.
The bank also reported a 32 per cent rise in its gross income from N14.24bn in September 2020 to N18.78bn in September 2021, according to a statement.
The bank’s total assets grew by 22 per cent to N256bn in Q3 2021 from N210bn in Q3 2020.
Its shareholder’s funds grew by 14 per cent from N17.85bn to N20.21bn in the period under review, while earnings per share jumped by 45 per cent from 6.28 kobo to 9.09 kobo.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Jaiz Bank, Hassan Usman, said the bank achieved the results through a number of strategic initiatives, including investment in IT infrastructure, better customer engagement at all levels and strategic cost management.
He appreciated the bank’s customers, shareholders, regulators and other stakeholders for their support while calling on the general public to come on board.
