Nigeria international, Moses Simon has returned from an injury layoff and has made Nantes’ matchday squad for the away trip to Lille on Saturday.
Simon hurt his calf and was stretchered off the pitch during the Super Eagles make-or-break World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde Islands’ Blue Sharks in mid-November.
The injury kept him out of Nantes’ trip to the Parc de Princes to face dethroned champions Paris Saint-Germain last weekend.
But Nantes manager, Antoine Kombouaré has included the 26-year-old forward in the 20-man squad list that will look to outwit reigning champions Lille at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Saturday evening.
Simon has been one of Nantes’ brightest stars this campaign, with the former Gent star contributing a goal and six assists to the Yellow Canaries’ cause.
Only PSG star forward Kylian Mbappe (7) has claimed more assists than the Super Eagles winger in the French elite division this season.
