The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti State Council has set up a special task force to checkmate the activities of quacks in the industry.
The Secretary of the Council, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi released this in a statement on Friday in Ado Ekiti.
The members of the team includes Ralphael Ogbonnaiye, Bidemi Sikiru and Tunde Akinlabi, Adewunmi Ademiju and Kelechi David.
He added that the team is expected to work with the leadership of the union and security agencies in order to root out quackery in journalism profession while enjoining all members of the union to be proactive towards delivering on the new task.
He further stated that the members of the task force would be officially inaugurated on Monday.
