The gubernatorial candidate of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in Ekiti State, Akinyemi Adewolo, has reaffirmed his commitment to turn around the economic fortunes of the state if elected as the governor.
He further announced that his party is a force to reckon with in the politics of Ekiti State, affirming that an end has come for the domineering season of All Progressive Congress (APC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
He stated this in an interview recently with PMParrot after he was declared as the candidate for ZLP.
Akinyemi stated that his government would focus on improving the agricultural sector and Small Scale Enterprises (SME) adding that the major problem affecting the state includes deficit infrastructural amenities while assuring the people of a greater and prosperous Ekiti.
He, however, chided the ruling party, APC for neglecting the worker’s welfare while promising to address it if elected.
Adewolo further appreciated the electoral committee for the successful conduct of the party’s primary election admitting that the whole process was transparent and orderly.
