All is now set for former governor of Ekiti State and a gubernatorial aspirant during the last Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary in the state, Engineer Segun Oni to officially join relatively unknown All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
PMParrot also gathered that the official ‘welcome party’ for the politician will be held anytime next week.
Another source also whispered to PMParrot that Engr Segun Oni’s focus on APGA may, however, change if the ‘tides turn out to be unfavourable’.
Said our source “APGA is on our front burner for now but Oga may move on to another party. What is sure is that we are leaving PDP for good. We were cheated at the Wednesday January 26th Primary Election held in the state by PDP.
Engineer Segun Oni, has also officially confirmed this position (of cross-carpeting) while addressing his mammoth supporters who he hosted at his Ifaki Ekiti Country home on Saturday.
During the meeting with his supporters, he did not mention the name of the party he plans to join.
