The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in conjunction with the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Oyo State Chapter on Wednesday held lectures as well as award presentations to mark world radio day.
The opportunity was used to decorate prominent Nigerians including the Onpetu of Ijero Kingdom, Oba Sunday Oyediran, prominent legal mogul, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, Col Olayinka Adeyanju, the head of Oyo State’s Amotekun and others.
Speaking at the event held at the prestigious Mauve 21 Event Center, Ring Road, Ibadan, Comrade Seun Awodele, Oyo FIBAN boss thanked all those who made event a success while promising to continue to work harder to uplift the association.
Prominent guests present at the event included Federal Representative, Surulere/Ogo-Oluwa Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Value, Hon. Segun Odebunmi (Bunvic), Dr Festus Adedayo, Basorun Adegboyega Lawal, Ambassador Romoke Ayinde, Olayinka Agboola of Parrto Xtra Media Network and several others.
