All is set for the First Technical University, Ibadan to honour Guarantee Trust Bank’s top shot, Mr Segun Agbaje and four others during the institution’s maiden convocation ceremony on March 5, 2022.
Agbaje alongside Chief Tunde Afolabi, Splash FM’s proprietor, Chief Adebayo Akande, Chief Amal Pepple and Professor Toyin Falola will bag the institution’s honorary doctoral degrees.
PMParrot also gathered that the convocation lecture will be delivered by Emeritus Professor, Julius Okojie.
The event, which is expected also to be graced by the Visitor to the school and governor of Oyo State, Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde starts by 10am at the institution’s main campus at Kilometer 11, Ibadan/Lagos Expressway, Ibadan.
A source close to the Vice Chancellor of the school, Professor Ayobami Salami informed that all arrangements have been concluded to ensure that the event is hitch free.
