The Segun Oni Movements (SOM) has accused the Ekiti State Government of planning to launch an attack on the former Governor of the State, Asiwaju Segun Oni and his supporters during his planned visit to Ekiti on Tuesday.
This was contained in a statement which was made available to PMParrot in Ado-Ekiti on Monday by the Director of Media and Publicity, Jackson Adebayo.
Adebayo said that Ekiti government has commissioned some drivers’ unions’ stalwarts to mobilize thugs and cause trouble on Tuesday so that supporters of the former State Governor will be scared to come out and welcome him.
Adebayo further explained that two top members of the Kayode Fayemi-led government met with the leadership of the union at the Government House on Monday to strategize their meeting stressing that about N10million was made available to the leadership of the union to prosecute the dastardly assignment.
