All arrangements have been concluded by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo to publicly and officially declare his intention to contest to be given the ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) vie to become the Nigerian President in 2023.
According to online sources, he is presently hosting the All Progressives Congress, seeking their support for his presidential ambition ahead of next month’s Presidential primary.
Prior to this time, the waiting period had made a lot of his supporters to be expressing anxiety and apprehension.
Just last week, in a meeting with PMParrot in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, one of the closest aides of the Vice President, Senator Babafemi Ojudu hinted that the declaration would take place in a couple of days.
From all indications, it is now an open secret that the Ikenne, Ogun State-born lawyer and politician is as good as in the race to grab the presidential ticket of his party, APC.
Over the weekend, the Minister of Transportation, Hon Rotimi Amaechi publicly made his declaration to contest for the same ticket in APC.
