The federated chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Ekiti State is set to hold its annual public lecture and award presentation with the theme ‘Journalism, Security, Party Politics and Election Coverage: The Way Forward’.
This was revealed in a statement by the chairman of the chapel, Comrade Ayodele Abere, revealing that the lecture is to enable all critical stakeholders shun all acts of indiscipline during the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ekiti State.
The programme is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 28 April, Ado-Ekiti, by 11:00am prompt while the guest lecturer is Professor Omotoye Olorode.
Prominent Nigerians expected at the event include Alhaja Bosede Adedibu, Mrs Aminat Ajibola, among others.
